Cyndi became a real estate agent because a house is one of the biggest decisions most people make, and she wanted to help someone slow down, understand what they are looking at, and choose something that fits their life — not just sign paperwork. She specializes in the mountains because this is home. She does not have to learn mountain living from a brochure.
Buying here is not exactly the same as buying down the hill. Snow, trees, slopes, driveways, parking, older cabins, decks, weather, insurance questions, lake rights on certain Lake Arrowhead properties, second homes, and communities that feel different even a few miles apart — those are part of the work. Loving the mountains for a weekend and living here are two different things. Cyndi will show you what is beautiful, and she will also talk about snow, access, maintenance, insurance, and driving, because she wants you to love living here after you buy.
Being local, to her, is not only an address. What does “Your Mountain Expert” mean?
It does not mean Cyndi pretends to know everything. It means mountain real estate takes more than opening a door and reading an MLS sheet. Lake Arrowhead is not Running Springs. Running Springs is not Crestline. Crestline is not Big Bear. She is not your inspector, contractor, engineer, insurance agent, lender, or attorney. She brings local real-estate knowledge, helps you see which questions still need answers, and wants to know what you hope life looks like after the closing.
What does Cyndi look at besides the kitchen?
Driveway, parking, stairs, trees, decks, drainage, sun, access, how the home sits on the lot, and how someone will live there — including when they are not there. Living here changes what she notices. It does not replace a home inspection.
What does she do when she does not know an answer?
She says so, then finds out. Real estate touches contracts, insurance, construction, inspections, title, financing, taxes, and permits. Guessing is not the job.
